Hi! I’m Jolene. A master personal trainer and wellness coach dedicated to helping you feel strong, confident, and supported—whether we’re training at the gym, in my home studio, or in the comfort of your own home.

While I've spent endless hours at the gym and feel comfortable in that environment, I recognize that many people may feel awkward going into such a space. For those people uncomfortable or unfamiliar in a gym setting, I am more than willing to meet clients at their home or alternatively, have them come to my home studio to workout! While I have a plethora of fitness equipment, including dumbbells, kettlebells, and bands available for those who are just starting out or maybe recovering from an injury or who have struggled with disease, I can always take clients to a gym if desired.  The best part about working with me is that your experience level doesn't matter! I'm willing to meet and help you grow at any stage of your wellness journey!

My Story

For over 35 years I've been striving to understand what it means to be healthy and happy. On this journey I've worked with personal trainers from all over the world. For most of my life, I have been on diets, but none of them comfortably fit me and my lifestyle. Finally, I figured it out--wellness is about what works for each individual person. No trainer, dietician, doctor, or therapist can help unless they understand what YOU want and need. After figuring that out, I lost 100 lbs. and am thrilled to say that as an older adult, I'm healthier and happier than I have ever been!


All it took was a glance at my fitness and nutrition habits paired with strategies on how to deal with life's natural changes. Prayer and meditation are important to me in dealing with stress, as well as various training methodologies that are in line with my health and fitness goals. At this stage in my life, it's no longer about the number of pounds I have lost, but about how I feel and what motivates me to be a whole, loving, and giving person that lives life as it was meant to be lived.

A Longevity-Informed Approach

At Focus On You, I believe wellness is about so much more than just exercise. I’m constantly expanding my education in longevity-focused coaching so I can bring you principles that support your strength, mobility, mindset, healthy habits, emotional well-being, and long-term vitality.

My goal is to help you build sustainable routines that don't just improve your physical fitness but also boost your confidence, balance, energy, and overall quality of life. As we work together, I love sharing these practical, longevity-based insights during our sessions to give you that extra layer of support and guidance.

What is Longevity Coaching?

Longevity coaching is about expanding your "healthspan"—ensuring the years you live are filled with strength, mental clarity, purpose, and deep connection. While lifespan is simply the number of years we are alive, longevity is about living those years better, thriving rather than just surviving. By looking at your life as a whole ecosystem, this holistic approach blends functional fitness (like maintaining muscle mass, balance, and joint mobility) with regenerative, anti-inflammatory nutrition and simple habits that reduce environmental stress. It is about strengthening your body from the inside out so you can handle real-life movements and daily tasks safely, confidently, and independently for as long as possible.
 

Beyond physical fitness, longevity coaching focuses heavily on mental, hormonal, and social vitality to help you smoothly navigate life's natural transitions. Together, we work on building a resilient "longevity mindset"—reframing how we view aging, enhancing everyday memory and focus, and syncing your daily habits with your body's natural energetic rhythms for better sleep and lower stress. We also focus on social nourishment and soulful aging, ensuring you stay deeply connected to your community, your personal values, and a true sense of purpose. Ultimately, this coaching gives you practical, bite-sized daily tools to protect your brain, heart, and body, allowing you to enter your wisdom season feeling energized, capable, and fulfilled.
